dog day- deformer

i always liked how gloomy dog day was.

so i like how moody and boring this album is.

as for their sound being a bit sparse due to half of their members quitting, i am glad there is no keyboard. girls should stop playing keyboards asap.

plus, the most attractive pair are the ones still in the band. yes they’re husband and wife, obv.

i like the song “eurozone” because i thought they were singing “cortizone” then when i realized they were actually saying EUROZONE i was like THAT IS FUCKING WEIRD WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN I LOVE THAT?!

i like the song “somebody” because the lame, boring guitar reminds me of something i used to like. like maybe neutral milk hotel. no that’s wrong. i dunno guys. maybe it’s just a catchy riff.  maybe a soft spot for acoustic sing-a-long campfire songs? (i typed “campire”…campfire vampire)…no i dont have that. maybe it just sounds a bit less depressing than the rest and i *gasp* was into it for a second. over it now though.

anyway, therefore, despite (in spite of?) the grid’s rating of 6.0 i give it a 7.5. CONTROVERSIAL.
